Dr. Nicos Stylianou
Co-founder
Co-founder of Diamorphe, where he leads the conceptual and technical architecture of CoreLogic3 / Business Analytica, a formal decision-support solution designed to optimise complex, high-dimensional decision problems.
His work brings together decision science, mathematical logic, philosophy, game-theoretic reasoning and physics-based modelling to support rigorous analysis, structured problem-solving and strategic decision-making.
Nicos holds a PhD in Philosophy of Science from the University of Bristol, an MSc in Philosophy of Science from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Philosophy with Business Administration and Information Technology from the State University of New York.
Alongside his role at Diamorphe, he has extensive experience in EU grant development, research management, risk assessment, business analytics and academic research, with a strong focus on probability, rationality, AI concepts and large-scale decision processes.
Dr. Afxentis Afxentiou
Co-Founder & Director of EU Funding Strategy
Co-Founder & Director of EU Funding Strategy at Diamorphe. He specialises in the development of European-funded projects and strategic initiatives across programmes including Erasmus+, AMIF, ISF, COSME, CERV, and Horizon Europe. His work focuses on translating complex social challenges into strong funding propositions, credible project architectures, and high-value collaborative opportunities.
His expertise combines EU funding strategy, project development, research-driven intervention design, and institutional positioning. He works across themes linked to social inclusion, democratisation, and the advancement of more inclusive, sustainable, and just societies, bringing together critical analysis with applied, innovation-oriented development. Afxentis holds a BA in History and Politics, an MA in Global Politics and Law from the University of Sheffield, and a PhD in Political Theory from the University of Brighton. His academic and applied background is interdisciplinary in character, spanning political theory, historical analysis, and international politics and law. He has published on international politics, security studies, political theory, and pedagogy.
